The Border Run decided in 2024 it will be hosting its silent auction biannually.  The next silent auction will be December 4-7, 2025 to help raise funds for the program's year end awards. Our goal is to offer exhibitors the best awards in the area, because they deserve it. Our plan is to host the auction on 32AUCTIONS.COM this year.

The Border Run is a not-for-profit organization promoting national amateur sport competitions for equine. We are identified by the Depart of Treasury Internal Revenue Service as Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) with the Public Charity Status of 509(a)(2).

Become a Donor

It can be anything that someone highly desires from gas gift cards to baskets full of goodies to horse stuff too. To put it best, anything that you would clammer to purchase or cause a bidding war. We look forward to your support. To help keep us organized and represent the donation and donor correctly please fill out the donation form.

Our event didn't just reach people in our territory of Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois it went above and beyond our expectations. Winning bidders hailed from Maine, Michigan, Florida, Ohio, and Kansas. You'll be sure to get great coverage as a donor to our auction. 

Not only do all business donors receive a shoutout on our Facebook page, but also donors whose items have a significant value will receive complimentary advertising in our year end program. That could be anywhere from a full page advertisement (items valuing $500 and above) to half-page advertisement (items valuing $200 and above).

Below is everything you need to know about signing up, bidding, receiving alerts, payment, and pickup/shipping.

 

1. How to Register on 32Auctions:

2. How to Bid

Once logged in:

  • Click any item to view the description and starting bid

  • Enter your bid amount

  • Confirm your bid

  • You’re done!

  • You may place manual bids or use an automatic proxy bid, which lets the system bid for you up to your chosen maximum.

 

3. Saving Favorites (Bookmarking Items)

  • Each item has a heart icon ❤️ in the upper corner.

  • Clicking this heart will bookmark the item.

  • This makes it easier to quickly revisit your saved items later.

 

 4. Getting Outbid Alerts

32Auctions automatically sends text and email notifications when:

  • You are outbid

  • You win an item when the auction closes

  • To receive text alerts, enter your phone number under My Account > Notification Settings.

  • You can update or turn off notifications at any time.

 

5. When the Auction Ends

Our auction ends on:

🗓 December 7, 2025 at 8:00 PM CST

At that time:

  • All items close automatically

  • Winning bidder emails are sent out by 32Auctions

  • Your invoice will be available in your 32Auctions account

  • You will receive instructions for paying and picking up items

Auction Begins Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 8 AM CST and ends Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 8 PM CST.

6. Payment Information

All payments for winning bids are handled directly through 32Auctions via Stripe, a secure online payment processor.

How Payment Works

  • Once the auction closes, 32Auctions automatically identifies the highest bidders.

  • Winning bidders will receive an email notification and an invoice inside their 32Auctions account.

  • You will complete payment online using Stripe — no additional payment methods are necessary.

 

Accepted Payment Method

💳 Credit or Debit Card (processed securely through Stripe at checkout)

Border Run does not collect cash, checks, PayPal, or Venmo.

 

All payments must be completed through the auction platform.

After Payment

Once your invoice is paid:

  • We will contact you to schedule item pickup.

  • If shipping is needed, please reach out and we will assemble your items and provide a shipping total. Shipping costs are paid by the winning bidder.
     

 7. Picking Up Your Items

  • After payment is complete, we will coordinate item pickup.

  • Local pickup is free

  • Pickup location details will be emailed after the auction closes

  • Please bring your invoice or show it on your phone

 

 8. Shipping (If Needed)

If shipping is required:

We will assemble your items, determine the postage cost, and send you a shipping total.

Shipping is paid by the winning bidder.

We do our best to ship affordably and securely.
